WWE Superstar Natalya has reacted to AEW’s Mercedes Moné paying homage to the Hart family at Forbidden Door 2026.
Last night’s event saw Mercedes Moné battle Maya World in the final of the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. For the match, Mone notably donned black-and-pink gear, made famous by Hart family members over the years.
Amanda Huber pointed to the same on social media, tagging Natalya in her post and writing:
“Mercedes being the goat and having gear inspired by the boat @NatbyNature! Greatness begets greatness 🩷🖤! I love women’s wrestling.”
Natalya subsequently reacted to Huber’s post, noting that she’s “truly honored.”
She wrote:
“Truly honored. Low-key Legend x GOAT.”

The gear proved to be a lucky charm for Mercedes Moné, as she bested Maya World to become the first person to win the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament twice. World brought her A-game to Mercedes, but the former AEW TBS Champion was able to reign supreme. In the closing moments of the match, she hit a Backstabber into the Statement Maker, forcing Maya to submit.
Mercedes is now headed to Wembley Stadium, where she will challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In: London. She spoke about the prospect of facing current champion Thekla at the Media Scrum. You can check her comments RIGHT HERE.
