WWE’s main roster PLEs are done on Peacock, and NBC Sports President Rick Cordella expressed gratitude to WWE for “taking a chance” on the service in 2021. WWE Clash in Paris was the final main roster PLE to air on Peacock before they move to ESPN with WrestlePalooza on September 20th. Cordella posted to Twitter to praise the company, writing:
“And a big thank you to @WWE, Nick Khan, @TripleH, and @StephMcMahon for taking a chance on Peacock 5 years ago, as we were just launching.
But it’s not goodbye. We’re excited to stay a partner of the WWE, with must-watch, Saturday Night Main Events for years to come.”
Peacock remains the platform for NXT PLEs as of now, as well as Saturday Night Main Event specials moving forward.
