New ROH World Tag Team Champions Crowned at CMLL Viernes Espectacular

New ROH World Tag Team Champions were crowned at last night’s CMLL Viernes Espectacular in Mexico City. Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos defended their titles against El Sky Team, Místico and Máscara Dorada. Sky Team was victorious, capturing the titles at the event held at Arena Mexico.

Místico and Máscara Dorada won the bout after Místico submitted Mortos with an armbar. La Facción Ingobernable’s title run ends at 203 days. They won the titles last December at ROH Final Battle 2025, beating Tommy Billington and Adam Priest to win the vacant titles. They’d recently been primarily wrestling and defending the titles in Mexico due to documented work visa issues for Mortos.

This marks the first ROH title wins for both Místico and Máscara Dorada. In his illustrious career, Místico has now won titles in CMLL, AEW, ROH, NJPW, and MLW. Highlights of the bout are now available below:
