NFL Teams Reportedly Interested In Working With Danhausen

Several NFL teams are reportedly interested in working with Danhausen for promotional efforts over the upcoming season. WrestleVotes On Fightful Select reports that at least three teams in the pro football league have reached out to WWE about potential promotional partnerships with the Very Nice, Very Evil One after his work with the New York Knicks in the NBA Playoffs and after.

Danhausen of course has done a number of appearances related to the Knicks after his “uncursing” of them was followed by a run to the NBA Championships. WrestleVotes also notes that a source within WWE indicated that the response to Danhausen’s Knicks merchandise has been “unlike anything the company has experienced with a talent generating crossover interest from professional sports organizations.”

The report notes that the internal expectation within WWE is that Fanatics will likely do a crossover line with Danhausen and the NFL later in the 2026 – 2027 season, which officially kicks off today.
