Nikki Bella Is Fine With People Using Her Past With John Cena Against Her On WWE TV

Nikki Bella says that she is “all for” her rivals using her past relationship with John Cena for shots on WWE TV. Nikki’s relationship with the retired WWE star has been referenced several times on TV, most recently on last week’s Smackdown when Paige said that she built her career off “hustle, loyalty, and respect” and Nikki just slept with it.

Nikki weighed in on those kinds of lines on the Nikki & Brie Show and acknowledged that the audience gets divided by them, but said she likes making feuds personal and said that it’s based on crowd reactions. You can see the highlights below (per Fightful):

“I know people can feel both ways. Believe me, I get it. I’m all for what entertains the crowd and helps make the crowd react. I always love bringing something personal into it. It all got stirred up from what they were chanting in Canada. If they never chanted that, none of the stuff in the promo would’ve ever happened. It’s just falling into place that way. The crowd being there, because it shot it live, it was amazing to hear the reactions. It is funny to see the reactions online. They are very torn.”

On Being Okay With Them Being Used:

“It’s great. I’ll always feel that way. It’s going to make it really fun for what we’re going to do (on SmackDown).”
