NJPW Road to Sakura Genesis (4/2) Results: Tiger Mask IV Reveals Retirement Date, Two Championship Matches & More

New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented night five of the Road to Sakura Genesis 2026 from the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday, April 2.
The event saw the likes of HOUSE OF TORTURE, T.M.D.K., Unbound Co., and more in action in multi-person matches. Two championships were also defended at the show. It also saw Tiger Mask IV reveal the date of his retirement match.

* Shota Umino & Tiger Mask defeated KUSHIDA & Masatora Yasuda
* Tiger Mask IV announces his retirement match will be on July 7
* Konosuke Takeshita defeated Tatsuya Matsumoto
* El Desperado, Taichi & Yuya Uemura defeated Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma) & Master Wato
* HOUSE OF TORTURE (Chase Owens, Don Fale, Ren Narita, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi) defeated Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI), Aaron Wolf, Oleg Boltin & Toru Yan
* HOUSE OF TORTURE continued their attack
* T.M.D.K. (Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.) defeated Unbound Co. (Gedo, OSKAR & Yuto-Ice)
* United Empire (Callum Newman, Jake Lee & Zane Ray) defeated Unbound Co. (Daiki Nagai, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji)
* Unbound Co. (Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori) defeated United Empire (Francesco Akira & Jakob Austin Young) to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
* Kosei Fujita challenges Robbie & Ishimori
* DOUKI defeated YOH to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title
* Tiger Mask challenges DOUKI
