Note On TNA Reaction To Motor City Machine Guns Signing With AEW

The Motor City Machine Guns are signed with AEW as revealed on Thursday, and a new report notes the reaction within TNA on the matter. The tag team made their debut in AEW during the opening segment of Thursday’s AEW Collision, during which it was announced that the two were officially All Elite.

The Guns are perhaps best known for their time in TNA, leading some online to have speculated that they may return there. However, Fightful Select reports that sources they had spoken to months ago didn’t expect them to return to TNA. The report notes that they expected AEW to give the team an offer that TNA would not be able to match.

The report notes that those sources added that the Motor City Machine Guns are still on good terms with TNA. The two are three-time TNA World Tag Team Champions, have 11 X-Division Championships between them, and both held the TNA World Championship once each.
