Note on Whereabouts of Former NXT Talent & WWE Broadcaster Percy Watson

This week’s edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A had details on the current whereabouts of former WWE talent and broadcaster Percy Watson (aka Nicholas Christopher McNeil). Watson was previously part of the second season of NXT with MVP as his veteran mentor.

In answering a fan question, Sean Ross Sapp said in the latest Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast that it was last heard that Watson was doing acting work, having recently appeared in some films and commercials. He also reportedly made appearances on the Home Shopping Network.

In terms of his recent acting roles, Watson can be seen in The Walking Dead Season 11 episode “A New Deal,” portraying the wrestler, Captain Commonwealth. He also appeared in the Chicago Fire Season 11 episode, “Completely Shattered,” where he’s credited as the character named “Tom.”

Additionally, it’s said that Percy Watson is primarily a family man now. The former wrestler was mainly known for his trademark glasses and his catchphrase, “Oh yeah!”
