Pete Dunne made an appearance at Attack! Pro Wrestling’s show last week, and a new report has some details on his appearance at the show. As noted, Dunne showed up and competed in a match against Leon Cage at the event and then cut a promo in which he thanked fans for “sticking with me” over the ups and downs of the last few years.
Fightful Select reports that WWE did not have any influence over Dunne’s booking at the show. The report notes that Cage was chosen by the people who run Attack! Pro Wrestling. Tommy Vril, James Ellis and Shane Hook were all considered as well for the match with Dunne.
The report adds that people in Attack! had high praise for Dunne in how he stayed and spoke with fans, taking pictures with over 100 of them after the event ended. Said sources also were happy with how MJF acknowledged the show when he posted a picture of Dunne in the wake of the match. Overall, people in Attack! were pleased with how the show went.
Finally, Lyra Valkyria was in attendance at the show to support Pete Dunne.
