March 2, 2019 | Posted by
– According to a report by the WrestleVotes Twitter account, WWE apparently has a significant change in mind for an upcoming edition of NXT TakeOver. According to the report, NXT TakeOver in June would be held on a Saturday night without a dual-branded WWE pay-per-view being held the next day. Traditionally, WWE holds TakeOver events the night before another major WWE pay-per-view being held the same weekend, such as Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Summerslam, etc.
NXT TakeOver: San Jose is set for Saturday, June 8. The event will reportedly be held at the SJSU Event Center, which was the same venue for NXT’s first major touring live event.
