Omos is officially allowed back in AAA, earning his reinstatement by defeating Rey Mysterio at night one of AAA Triplemania 34. The giant defeated the AAA General Manager in the main event of Friday night’s PLE in a match that saw Omos’ spot in AAA on the line. Omos was previously suspended by Mysterio, and the match would have seen him banned from AAA should he have lost.

Mysterio had his work cut out for him, and Omos controlled much of the match. However, Mysterio was able to battle back and a series of 619s put Omos on the ground. Dominik Mysterio got involved and attacked his dad, leading to El Grande Americano making the save. Mysterio nearly got the win, but Dom attacked Americano and brutalized him with a chair. Rey was distracted and that allowed Omos to take back advantage with a big boot. One choke slam later, Omos had the win.

After the match, Dom beat on Americano some more while Omos assaulted Mysterio in the ring. They left together but Omos came back after Rey was put on a stretcher, grabbed him and slammed the stretcher into the commentary desk. The show ended with Omos standing over the fallen AAA General Manager.
