Order of Protection Reportedly Filed Against Keanu Carver Over Stalking Allegations

An order of protection has reportedly been filed against Keanu Carver over allegations of stalking by another NXT talent. POST Wrestling’s Brandon Thurston & John Pollock reported on Tuesday that Carver, real name Kevin Robertson, is under the order of protection and forbidden from contacting or coming within 500 feet of the talent in question. POST has chosen not to identify the other talent unless they choose to be named.

According to the report, the petition was filed on September 14th in a Florida court. Carver had been dating the petitioner and the relationship recently ended. In the aftermath of the breakup, Carver allegedly visited the petitioner’s home several times and made unwanted calls, up to 44 times in a day. The filing includes screenshots with calls from Carver to the petitioner, as well as stills of him at her home via security camera stills.

There is no word yet on whether criminal charges of stalking have been filed. The judge granted the temporary order of protection the same day it was filed and extended it through the date of an October 20th hearing on September 22nd. Carver has asked for a continuance so he can gain legal representation.

According to the filing, while they were dating Carver was abusive and threatening. The petitioner alleges that Carver “spat on me, physically restrained me from leaving his house… [H]e has threatened to kill me, as well as my cats, he has woken me up by plugging my nose in my sleep, he has grabbed me by my throat multiple times and squeezed hard while threatening to kill me.” It adds that, as noted, there are several alleged incidents of unwanted visits and calls after the relationship ended and that Carver came to their home on September 4th at 7 AM “intoxicated and under the influence of drugs and alcohol.”

Carver allegedly again returned to the petitioner home on September 8th when they were not there and waited at the door. The petitioner showed up in their car and tried to go in reverse and drive away, but Carver allegedly grabbed the car and said he needed help and “said he had drugs on him and he saw cops and his phone was 1% and he had no way to get home.” Carver allegedly returned later that night, knocked on the door and circled the residence “all night long” until he left around 8 AM. Carver allegedly called the petitioner 25 times on September 9th and again showed up when no one was there. He allegedly came by again the next morning at 2:01 AM, knocked on the door “[a]ll night long” and “called my phone from a blocked number, called me on x (FKA twitter), made incoherent sounds, circled my apartment building.” The filing proceeds to say:

“I took video from inside my apartment of him making growling noises outside, and then knocking. I did not answer the door and I pretended I wasn’t home. I then called a mutual friend asking him to come get Kevin from my front door where he was passed out. Several neighbors saw him sleeping outside my door, and one tenant sent a photo and email to the rental office showing him outside my door because she was afraid.”

The petitioner then set up security cameras at the home’s door and Carver showed up again on September 13th, after he was told he wasn’t welcome, and rang the doorbell several times. The petitioner called 911. Carver allegedly threatened to harm himself and ultimately left before police arrived.

The Twitter and Instagram accounts that appear to be Carver’s, with the handle @KeanuCarverWWE, have both been deactivated. WWE has not responded to questions about the matter, including whether Carver is suspended and whether the order prevents him from being at the WWE PC and thus appearing on WWE NXT. Carver has also not yet responded to requests by POST Wrestling for comment on the story.

Carver’s most recent appearance on TV was on September 8th, where he was part of the main event match. That match saw Carver, Cruz Montana, and EK Prosper lose a bout against Mason Rook, Saquon Shugars, and Tony D’Angelo to determine who would fight for a shot at the NXT Championship. Rook, Shugars, and D’Angelo were victorious. Carver’s most recent match was at an NXT live event on September 12th in Lakeland, Florida.
