Paige Shows Up On WWE NXT, Challenges Kelani Jordan For Women’s Title

Page made a surprise appearance on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, challenging Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship. Wednesday night’s show had Jordan defending the title against an unknown opponent who turned out to be the WWE Smackdown star.

The nearly 10-minute bout saw Paige take control early on, but Jordan battled back against the former NXT Women’s Champion. Paige hit a German suplex and a Paige Turner for a nearfall, but Jordan targeted Paige’s neck soon after. The two traded nearfalls and Paige took control, but Jordan dodged a Rampaige and reversed into a small package to get the pinfall victory.

You can see clips from the WWE NXT match below. Jordan’s NXT Women’s Championship reign now stands at 67 days, having won it from Kendal Grey at NXT Heatwave. Paige was the original NXT Women’s Champion, holding the title for 273 days back in 2013 and 2014.
