Penta Comments On His WWE Career Trajectory, Says He Has Power In His Hands With MITB Briefcase

Penta has witnessed a steady rise in his stock since joining WWE in January 2025, so much so that the masked wrestler recently admitted that he sometimes can’t believe it.

The former WWE International Champion and current Mr. Money in the Bank has become a main event player in recent times, especially since his match against Roman Reigns in Mexico City.

With him receiving so much love from fans, Penta believes he now understands his responsibility in the business. He also commented on being Mr. Money in the Bank, stating that he has the “f**king power in his hands.” Here’s what he said on Busted Open Radio:

“I can’t believe what is happening right now”- Penta on his current career trajectory

“Actually, I want to be honest with you. Sometimes, I can’t believe what is happening right now. But at the same time, I feel I know what is my responsibility now in this business. Every time more children come to me, every child uses my t-shirt, my mask, Cero Miedo; he can say it in Spanish, but he tried. When I saw that, it’s like, ‘Okay, I now know my responsibility with the crowd.’ I feel great because my brother started growing up in different kinds of stuff; he is in SmackDown now, and I am on RAW. But the time when my brother came to RAW, amazing too.”

On what it means to have the MITB briefcase

“But as for a briefcase, I actually feel like that. I have the f**king power in my hands basically because at one time, I don’t know where, I don’t know when, but when I feel it in my soul that it is the perfect time for a cash-in, I will. Now, I started thinking something, Roman, you know, Sami. I don’t know because it’s my first time, but at the same time, I want to do the best, forget the world champions, you know? But for now, I enjoy every presentation with my briefcase, with fire, everything about it. I enjoy it.”
