Penta has promised his fans that he’ll become a WWE World Champion one day. The Mexican wrestler has had a great time since he showed up in WWE in January 2025. The WWE Universe has been behind him since his very first match in the company, and Penta aims to win the world championship for them one day.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW, Penta said:
“I want to say thank you for all my fans around the world, because you guys are my gasoline for every night, because Penta is from the people. Penta is from all the fans supporting me. Now I have 20 years around this business, so I’m very thankful for you guys. Thank you so much. I promise you, one time, I don’t know when, I don’t know how, but I promise, Penta becomes the .. WWE, but not any champion, the world champion.”
Penta is in the midst of a hugely entertaining reign as the Intercontinental Champion. Cero Miedo has been a fighting champion since capturing the gold from Dominik Mysterio in March 2025. His most recent successful defense came against Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans, and the next challenger for the championship is set to be the legendary Rey Mysterio. WWE has yet to announce the date and venue for that match. Penta spoke about facing Mysterio during the same interview. You can check his comments HERE.
Meanwhile, Penta is set for a King of the Ring tournament Fatal Four-Way on tonight’s RAW. The lineup for the show can be checked HERE. Listen to his comment below:
