Persephone & Britt Baker Run Down Competition Following AEW WrestleDream

During last night’s AEW WrestleDream, Persephone successfully defended her AEW TBS Championship against Hyan, Dani Luna, and Queen Aminata in a Fatal 4-Way Match. AEW later released an exclusive social media video in which Persephone and her friend, Dr. Britt Baker, run down the champion’s competition.

Persephone states in the clip, “I’m disgusted to even be in this swamp. Britty Brit, we already beat Hyan. We already beat Dani. And Queem Aminata, what did you ever do to deserve to be here? You just lost in Paris!”

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., referenced how Persephone won one night after they won a tag team match in Mexico City in CMLL, beating Tessa Blanchard and Thunder Rosa. Dr. Baker commented, “Listen, it doesn’t matter who they keep feeding you or when, whether it’s the filet mignon or the cheeseburgers. You’re going to remain still the TBS Women’s World Champion, even when we’re straight off the plane from a win in Mexico last night for CMLL.”

Persephone added how she will be defending her CMLL Women’s World Title again today (Oct. 18). She stated, “The era of Persephone is forever.”

"I am a fighting champion, better than all of you ever will be. The era of Perse is forever."
