Persephone Set For MLP Show During WrestleMania Week

CMLL and AEW star Persephone is headed to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling over WrestleMania week for the promotions MLP Multiverse show. MLP announced on Thursday that the CMLL World Women’s Champion will be in action at their show, which takes place as part of SlamFest on April 17th at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

The announcement reads:

“One of AEW’s brightest young stars is heading to Las Vegas! Catch Persephone in action on Friday, April 17 when SLAMFEST presents MLP Multiverse. Get your tickets now [here]”

Persephone is on a dual contract with both AEW and CMLL. She captured the CMLL World Women’s Championship from Mercedes Mone at CMLL La Noche de Las Amazonas on March 6th, and is competing on tonight’s episode of ROH On HonorClub.

MLP owner Scott D’Amore said of Slam Fest when it was announced:
