Philippou Brothers Film Exploding Barbed Wire Match For Deathmatch Documentary

The Philippou Brothers are working on a documentary about deathmatch wrestling, and they filmed an Exploding Barbed Wire Match on Saturday for the film. As you can see below Michael Phillippou’s Instagram account, he and Danny Philippou shot the match at GCW and Lucha Libre Vanguardia’s Deathmatch Mexican Rush on Saturday in Pachuca, Mexico.
The match saw Michael Philippou team up with Rina Yamashita against Ciclope & Miedo Extremo, and you can see a clip from the match below. Michael also posted a photo of himself, writing:
“I’m cleaned up and ok everyone. I love you Mexico”
The film is being produced under A24 and does not yet have a release date or title.
