Kevin Owens is reportedly not injured after appearing to suffer a leg issue during a WWE live event in North Charleston, South Carolina. Owens returned to WWE at SummerSlam after almost 15 months away from the ring as he was recovering from neck surgery and a spinal cord injury. He has since moved into the Undisputed WWE Championship picture.
Owens competed at WWE’s August 30 house show at the North Charleston Coliseum, defeating The Miz. Fan footage later showed him limping and needing assistance, sparking concern that Owens may have suffered another injury.
However, Dave Meltzer has confirmed on X that Owens is “okay.” Meltzer reported, “Kevin Owens is okay from what we are told. No injury.”
Sami Zayn has already cost Kevin Owens an opportunity to win the title from CM Punk. On August 21, he disrupted a No. 1 contender’s match that could have given Owens a title shot. At this stage, there is no reported diagnosis or injury-related absence for Owens.
Kevin Owens is okay from what we are told. No injury.
