Pro Wrestling NOAH Talent Competes In Dark Match Before WWE NXT

Pro Wrestling NOAH star Ulka Sasaki competed before this week’s episode of WWE NXT in a dark match. As Bodyslam’s Cory Hays reports, Sasaki made his NXT debut on Tuesday night in a match before the show. He faced off in singles action with NXT star and former TNA International Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
It was announced over the weekend that Sasaki was headed to WWE NXT on excursion. He is training at the WWE Performance Center.
Sasaki, real name Yuta Sasaki, is a former UFC fighter who competed for the promotion from 2014 to 2018. He then went to Rizin FF. His pro MMA record is 24-10-2. Sasaki made his profesional wrestling debut for NOAH on January 2nd, 2024 at NOAH The New Year, losing to Takashi Sugiura. He is a former GHC National Champion in NOAH, reigning from July to September of 2024. He also had a run with the GHC Tag Team Championships, teaming with Kenoh for a reign that lasted from May to June of 2025.
