Pro Wrestling Guerrilla sent out the following press release:

It’s been a long time coming, but we are pleased to finally announce that the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles is now scheduled to take place Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Burbank Armory in Burbank, CA. Originally scheduled to take place over three days with twenty-four participants, the tournament now returns to its original format of two days, and sixteen participants. In order to allow our fans to attend both the First Round of the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles and TNA Wrestling’s event on the same day, the First Round of the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles will have a start time of 2:00PM on Saturday, November 1.

While it is true that the tournament is a great deal different from what we had originally envisioned, we feel that these changes make for a much more streamlined event which will only heighten the level of competition, and increase fan enjoyment, as well. We apologize for the tumultuous road to the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles, however now that time, date, and location have been secured, we are ready to move forward with what looks to still be the best Battle of Los Angeles tournament yet.

Starting Saturday, October 4, we will announce ticketing and pre-sale information for the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles, along with the first tournament participant. From that day forward, we will be announcing a new participant or match every day on the 2008 Battle of Los Angeles mini-site at ProWrestlingGuerrilla.com!

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s 2008 Battle of Los Angeles takes place Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2:00PM and Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 5:00PM at the Burbank Armory in Burbank, CA. The Burbank Armory is located at 3800 Valhalla Dr., Burbank, CA, 91505. Participants and ticketing information will be announced starting October 4, 2008.
