Rhino Says There’s a Niche For Deatmatches, Isn’t Likely To Do One
Rhino believes that deathmatches are fine in certain situations, even if he’s unlikely to do one. The ECW, WWE and TNA alumnus appeared on The Wrestling Classic for a new interview and during the conversation, he was asked about the often-controversial bouts. You can see highlights below (h/t to Wrestling Inc):
On deathmatches: “The deathmatch? You know, that I think it’s a niche for certain wrestlers; I don’t think all wrestlers should do that. If it really built up to a wrestler that’s known for that and another wrestler like Matt Cardona?… There’s a niche for that, and fans really like that.”
On if he would do a deathmatch: “The needles? Not so much – that’s me and my personal taste. But I like the hardcore, you know, like tables and chairs and stuff, where – you know – you can still have your kid watch, you know?”
