Ric Flair was reportedly hospitalized on Friday after he fell outside a Florida restaurant and injured his face. TMZ reports that the WWE Hall of Famer was taken to the hospital after he fell outside of Wagamama, a restaurant in Tampa, Florida.
According to the report, Flair was at the restaurant this morning when he got up from the bar and left his phone and drink behind to walk across the street. While outside, Flair suddenly fell and suffered an injury to his face. The report cites sources as saying that Flair cut his head and eye open in the fall, that his eye was “bleeding extensively,” and that he may have suffered a concussion. He was then put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
Flair posted to Twitter earlier on Friday announcing that he would be unable to attend Washington State Horror Con in Seattle as he had been limited in travel to three to four hours by his doctors due to a blood clot in his leg.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to Ric Flair for a quick and full recovery.
