Ric Flair Misses Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion Due to Medical Issue

Ric Flair missed a Cauliflower Alley Club reunion event on Wednesday due to a medical issue. A video was posted online from the 60th annual reunion event by Rudos Revolution in which Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart accepted the Iron Mike Mazurki Award on Flair’s behalf.

Flair appeared in a video and apologized for not being able to make it to the event, noting that he has a blood clot in his leg and can’t travel to the event. Flair noted that he has an appearance set for Pennsylvania over the weekend and would not have been able to make both trips, saying (per F4W Online):

“I have a blood clot in my leg, so I can’t travel the five or six hour trips that it takes to go to get there. But I wanted to thank you all for coming out tonight, honoring me. I’m so honored.”

Flair added that helth issue aside, he’s feeling great. He shared his support for the Cauliflower Alley Club and its mission, saying he made a personal donation to the cause.

The Iron Mike Mazurki Award has previously honored the likes of Mick Foley, Sting, CM Punk, and Madusa and is given to recognize “extraordinary achievement, lasting impact, and a lifetime of contribution to the professional wrestling industry.”
