Rich Swann Qualifies for X-Division Title Match At Bound For Glory On TNA Impact

Rich Swann is headed for TNA Bound For Glory, earning a spot in the X-Division Championship match on this week’s TNA Impact. Swann battled LJ Cleary on Thursday night’s show in a qualifying match for the six-way Scramble Match at next month’s PPV.

The match went a little over eight minutes and while Cleary put up a fight against Swann, he ultimately fell to a Phoenix Splash following a cutter off the topes and kick to the head. You can see clips from the TNA Impact match below.

Swann joins Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and Cedric Alexander as competitors in the X-Division Championship match. Aichner and Navarro qualified in their own matches over the past couple of weeks, while Alexander has his spot by way of invoking his rematch clause. Leon Slater cashed in the championship after winning it at TNA Lockdown, invoking “Plan C” to challenge Nic Nemeth for the World Title at Bound For Glory which takes place on October 11th at the Yeungling Center in Tampa, Florida.

It's a beautiful life for @LJ_Cleary as he looks to prove he's more than hype by qualifying for the #TNABoundForGlory X-Division Title match. #TNAiMPACT pic.twitter.com/GRUXN7qqYm
