Ricky Saints Challenges Rey Fenix to a Rematch for the AAA World Cruiserweight Title

WWE released a new digital exclusive interview with Ricky Saints, where he speaks to Cathy Kelley about his ongoing feud with AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix. During the promo, Saints challenged Fenix to put his AAA Cruiserweight Title on the line again.

When Kelley brought up Saints winning his first match on SmackDown in a while after pinning last week, he responded, “Listen, no, we’re not talking about the past, okay? If you wanna talk about records, Fenix, one, Ricky, one, and don’t forget, last week, I won. And if I can do it once, I can do it again. And that is exactly what is going to happen the next time that I’m in the ring with that pendejo.”

Saints then laid out his challenge to Fenix, stating, “Fenix. Where is your heart? If you were the champion that you claim to be, then you have no problem putting that title on the line again. And then, Cathy, you can open up your little record book and jot down in bold letters a new AAA Cruiserweight Champion, Absolute Ricky Saints.

Ricky Saints previously challenged Rey Fenix for the AAA World Cruiserweight Title at the Sept. 11 edition of Friday Night SmackDown in Mexico City, but Fenix beat Saints to retain his title. However, it looks like a title rematch between the two is now on the horizon.
