The Rock Denies That He Turned Down Appearing in Ric Flair 30 For 30 Special

– The Rock has taken to Twitter and shot down reports that he turned down the opportunity to appear in ESPN’s 30 For 30 special on Ric Flair. The actor/wrestler posted to his social media account to deny the rumors that were floating around that he rejected an attempt by director Rory Karpf to get him to appear in the piece.

The reports began after a Sports Illustrated piece on the documentary interviewed Karpf, who said that only people from the wrestling world that he wanted but failed to get were Steve Austin, Paul Heyman and Rock. The article never says Rock turned down the offer and doesn’t explain why, leaving open the possibility that scheduling issues or other things prevented the interview.
