Rockstar Spud Makes 205 Live Debut as GM, Announces Cruiserweight Title Tournament

– Rockstar Spud made his WWE debut as the 205 Live General Manager and announced a tournament for the Cruiserweight Championship. Spud was introduced as Drake Maverick, the new General Manager for the brand, in the opening segment of the show.
Maverick cut a promo in which he talked about how he’s fought to get to WWE, and is there to make sure the fans get the best that the cruiserweight division has to offer. He announced that the vacant Cruiserweight Championship will be defended in a sixteen-man tournament that will see its finals at WrestleMania 34.
The tournament kicked off on 205 Live with the following matches:
Cedric Alexander vs. Gran Metalik
TJP vs. Tyler Bate
