Rocky Romero Interrupts Rougeau Dynasty Celebration On AEW Redemption: The Buy In

Rocky Romero came down in an attempt to ruin the Rougeau Wrestling Dynasty celebration on AEW Redemption: The Buy In and paid the price. The pre-show for Sunday’s PPV featured a celebration of the Rougeau family, with Jacques and Raymond Rougeau coming down to the ring for the segment that was hosted by Matt Menard.

Raymond ran down the history of the Rougeau family and thanked Tony Khan and AEW for giving them their moment, after which Jacque spoke and thanked fans around the role and leading an “Ole Ole” chant with the lights turned down and fans’ phones on.

That brought out Romero, who told everyone to shut up and said the only family that matters is Don Callis’. Romero tried to take some more shots at the Rougeaus, but Jacques slapped him and then held him for a thrust kick to the ribs. Romero was sent out of the ring.
