Roman Reigns Tells Cody Rhodes They Are Never Teaming Up Again Following WarGames Match At WWE Survivor Series

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 ended on a tense note, as Roman Reigns and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had a faceoff before the show went off the air.

After Bron Breakker pinned CM Punk to seal a victory for his team in the Men’s WarGames Match, the Best in the World and Roman Reigns shared a fist bump. However, just as Cody got back to his feet, he and Roman came face-to-face, with the Original Tribal Chief telling the American Nightmare that this was the last time they ever teamed up.

“This is the last time we ever team. Just know that,” Roman told Cody.

This was the second time that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes were on the same side. They previously teamed up at Bad Blood 2024 to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a winning cause. Before that, the two megastars had an iconic rivalry that saw them compete for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39 and 40, with the American Nightmare eventually ending Roman’s 1316-day reign at The Show of Shows in April 2024.

Roman’s comments suggest that he has again set his sights on the Undisputed WWE Title. It will be interesting to see if they go one-on-one for the third time at WrestleMania next year.
