Former WWE Superstar Scarlett Bordeaux has taken a major step in securing her post-WWE identity by filing a trademark for the name “Scarlett.” The application was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on December 8 and lists the first commercial use dating back to February 13, 2010. The filing covers entertainment services such as wrestling performances, aligning with her current work on the independent scene since leaving WWE in August when her contract expired.

Scarlett became widely recognized during her WWE run as the on-screen partner and manager of Karrion Kross, appearing in both managerial and occasional in-ring roles. Before joining WWE, she had already built a strong independent reputation under the name Scarlett Bordeaux. WWE previously held the trademark for “Scarlett” from 2020 through 2022, but did not renew it following the pair’s 2021 release. Scarlett has since continued using the full “Scarlett Bordeaux” name professionally. The new filing suggests she intends to streamline her branding under the shorter moniker in the future.

Since her WWE exit, Scarlett has been active on the independent circuit with her husband, Killer Kross. The duo has appeared in promotions including MLW, where Scarlett recently defeated Isla Dawn, as well as GCW, AAW, and other regional promotions. They often work together as an act, drawing notable reactions at events such as their GCW Homecoming appearance. Kross has emphasized their flexibility in taking bookings separately or as a team, allowing both to explore individual and joint creative opportunities.
