Scott D’Amore Reminds MJF Of His Challenge To Nic Nemeth To A Match In Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling

Last month, former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) challenged former TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth to a match under the Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling banner.

However, things have gone quiet since then, with MJF nowhere to be seen since he lost to Mark Briscoe at All Out 2025. Former TNA executive and the owner of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, Scott D’Amore, has now reminded Friedman of his challenge to Nemeth and asked the AEW talent if he is still up to facing the former WWE Superstar in his promotion.

In the latest edition of his D’Amore Drop column, the veteran promoter wrote:

“Speaking of champions appearing at Maple Leaf, it’s been a month since MJF publicly challenged Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) to face him in MLP. Are we doing this, MJF?” he asked.

Elsewhere in his column, D’Amore dismissed claims that TNA Wrestling had blocked its talents from performing in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. He noted how current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mike Santana and World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy are scheduled to feature in the upcoming events.

Notably, MJF and Nic Nemeth have never faced each other. With D’Amore poking Friedman in his latest column, one can expect the Long Island native to fire back and agree to face Nemeth in the coming days.
