Scott Steiner invented his own brand of calculations with the famed “Steiner Math” promo in TNA, and he recently reflected on the promo’s legacy. The promo has become one of wrestling fans’ favorites, and he was asked about its popularity during an appearance on Going Ringside.
“It made sense, I’m a mathematical wizard apparently,” Steiner quipped (per Wrestling Inc). “Man, you know you can’t predict that stuff, you know? You never know what people are going to latch on to, plus it made sense.”
He added, “So many people come up to me and say I helped them with their math throughout high school and college.”
The promo took place in 2008 to hype the Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle vs. Steiner match at TNA Sacrifice. Joe beat the mathematical odds to retain his TNA World Championship.
