Sean Waltman Recalls Being Part Of Triple H vs. Sting At WrestleMania 31

The nWo and DX got involved in the Sting vs. Triple H match at WrestleMania 31, and Sean Waltman recently revealed when they found out they’d be appearing. The match saw DX interfere on Triple H’s behalf while the nWo came to Sting’s aid, with Triple H ultimately picking up the win. Waltman looked back on the match in an appearance on Busted Open Radio, noting that they didn’t find out until the night before the show.

“After [the ] Hall of Fame, Hunter comes up to Scott, Kevin, and I and goes, ‘Hey, can you go to the stadium with us? We want to go over some stuff,'” Waltman recalled (per Wrestling Inc). “We had no idea we were doing that, man, until the night before. And it was a nice little payoff, too.”
