Stop me if you’ve heard this one, but Seth Rollins’ injury from WWE Crown Jewel is reportedly not a work. As noted earlier, Rollins suffered an injury at Saturday’s PLE that led to WWE pivoting creatively. Some fans are giving the news some side-eye, considering that Rollins faked a knee injury before SummerSlam in order to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Despite people’s understandable skepticism, Bodyslam.net reports that the injury is not a work. Rollins is actually injured although, as Fightful noted, details are being kept quiet at the moment.
Rollins undergoes further testing later this week on the injury. WWE pivoted creatively by having Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turn on Rollins at the end of this week’s Raw.
