At TNA Bound for Glory 2026, former AEW star Max Caster accepted Moose’s open challenge, losing to him at the pay-per-view event. However, according to a report by False Finish, another name was considered for the last. False Finish reports that former WWE Champion Sheamus was one of the names for the matchup at the event.
Before Caster accepted the challenge, False Finish reports that Sheamus (aka Stephen Farrelly) was the “primary name” TNA considered for the matchup at Bound for Glory. Ultimately, it went to Caster instead. TNA later cut ties with Caster due to comments he made about Riyadh during his freestyle rap entrance.
It was reported last week by Fightful Select that TNA was interested in Sheamus, who is currently an unrestricted free agent after parting ways with WWE. It’s currently unknown if Sheamus has signed with TNA Wrestling.
