Shinsuke Nakamura Pays Tribute to Hiroshi Tanahashi at WWE Live Event

During the WWE live event in Tokyo earlier today, Shinsuke Nakamura paid tribute to Hiroshi Tanahashi, who is set to retire from wrestling next year. Nakamura was once on the NJPW roster and has wrestled Tanahashi in the past.
According to Tokyo Sports, Nakamura spoke to the crowd and used Tanahashi’s phrase “Aishitemasu”, which means “I love you” in Japanese.
He said: “Tokyo! WWE is back at [Sumo Hall] again this year. Are you having fun? Let’s have more fun than any other city in the world. Japan, I love you!”
In a post on Twitter, Tanahashi replied: “Huh? I thought I heard something…”
