Sho Funaki’s Son Jesse Makes TNA Debut On Xplosion

Jesse Funaki, the son of WWE alumnus Sho Funaki, is making his TNA debut on the latest episode of Xplosion. TNA announced on Friday that Jesse would be facing Jake Something on the newest episode of the secondary show, as you can see below.
The company wrote:
“Second generation star Jesse Funaki makes his TNA debut against @JakeSomething_ in the Xplosion exclusive match while @IamGeorgeIceman joins @MeanGiaMiller on Around The Ring.

The episode is live on TNA+ and hits YouTube on Tuesday. Something picked up the win over Funaki. The matches were taped on Saturday.
Sho Funaki is best known for his time in WWE. He was a member of Kai En Tai as well as SmackDown’s No. 1 Announcer. He is also a former Cruiserweight and Hardcore Champion.
Jesse Funaki began his in-ring career in June of last year. He has worked regularly for New Texas Pro Wrestling among other independent promotions.
