Steve Corino Returns to In-Ring Competition

Steve Corino has been working as a coach at WWE’s Performance Center since 2017. He retired from in-ring competition in August 2021, when he wrestled his son Colby for the Premier Wrestling Federation, a North Carolina-based wrestling company that Corino helped found in 2001 and has remained involved with during his various stints with companies in America & Japan over the years.

Corino became more involved with the PWF this past Sunday. It was the PWF’s 25th Anniversary Show, and the main event title match needed a replacement. Champion Kaitlyn Marie was scheduled to face Mads Kruler Krugger, but when he didn’t appear the King of Old School was ready to make a comeback. The former ECW World Champion has held the PWF Championship on multiple occasions.

Steve Corino defeated Kaitlyn to win the PWF Championship and apparently will be back in competition with the PWF on a regular basis. He will not be competing anywhere else and is still employed by WWE as a coach at the Performance Center.
