Steve Maclin Exits TNA, Granted Release From Company

Steve Maclin’s time in TNA has come to an end, with a new report confirming he has been granted his release. Fightful reports that Maclin has been granted a release from the company. TNA confirmed the release soon after.
Details around Maclin’s release have yet to be confirmed. Maclin has been part of TNA since 2021 and is a former TNA World Champion. He as the inaugural TNA International Champion, winning the title at TNA Unbreakable 2025, and held that championship twice.
Maclin last competed on the May 21st episode of TNA Impact where he challenged Mike Santana for the TNA World Championship. Santana defeated Maclin in a rematch of TNA Sacrifice to retain the championship.
Steve Maclin is the second person in a week to be granted their release from TNA following Myla Grace, who exited the company on June 4th. It was reported that two other TNA talents’ contracts are set to expire soon in addition to Santana, who WWE has expressed interest in signing.
