Tay Melo Denies That She Is Retired From the Ring

Tay Melo says that despite speculation otherwise, she has not retired from the ring despite seeking her AEW release. As you may recall, AEW head Tony Khan noted in July that he was going to grant Melo’s release from WWE upon her request. Melo then posted a video in which she spoke in apparently metaphorical terms about a tree that needed to be moved from the pot it was in to somewhere it was meant to grow.
Melo recently removed the word “wrestler” from her Instagram bio, which a fan noted online. The fan took this to mean that she had retired, but she replied on Twitter to say (translation via Google):
“Nope, I didn’t retire.”
There has been no confirmation, either by Tay Melo or Khan, that her release has been granted. As of this writing, she is still on the AEW roster page
Nope, não me aposentei não.
