Templario vs. KUSHIDA Middleweight Title Bout Set for MLW Battle Riot VIII

Major League Wrestling announced a new World Middleweight Title bout for MLW Battle Riot VIII. Champion Templario defends the MLW World Middleweight Title against KUSHIDA at the event.

Templario won the title last September. He faces a huge challenge in KUSHIDA, one of the most accomplished wrestlers of his generation in NJPW. During his career, KUSHIDA became a multiple-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

Per MLW on the matchup, “Synonymous with his Back to the Future–inspired persona, KUSHIDA has vowed that when Battle RIOT arrives, he’s ready to hit 88 miles per hour, promising that if his plan succeeds, Templario will be ‘outta time’ when the dust settles.”

MLW Battle Riot VIII takes place on Thursday, January 29. It will be held at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida. Tickets are still available for the show at MLWLive.com and Ticketmaster.
