Tetsuya Naito has been having issues getting a US visa according to a new report, and says NJPW is the only option he would consider in Japan. Naito has worked a limite number of shows in Europe since he left NJPW in May, and Tokyo Sports reports that he has had difficulty getting a visa to work in the US so he is focusing on working in Europe and Asia.
“That feeling from my entrance exam, when I said, ‘My feelings for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, my dedication to New Japan Pro-Wrestling, are unmatched by anyone’—that sentiment still remains, at least to some extent,” Naito said. “Right now, when it comes to domestic rings, New Japan is the only option I’m considering. But I left there with the courage to take that step. If my only domestic options are limited to New Japan, then I want to fight overseas, in places I’ve never shown myself live before.“
Naito is next set to compete at wXw on September 27th.
