The Bella Twins Name Their Favorite Tag Team To Work With

The Bella Twins recently revealed who their favorite tag team to work with in WWE has been. The WWE Hall of Famers have faced off with a number of women’s teams over the years, and in a video with Variety promoting WWE SummerSlam, the two named AJ Lee and Paige as their favorite tag team opponents.

The two teams faced off at WrestleMania 31 in 2015, with Lee and Paige getting the win. Both Bellas spoke fondly of the match and the chemistry they had with Lee and Paige, as well as the storyline leading into the match. You can see the highlights below:

Nikki On Facing AJ Lee & Paige:

“We had incredible chemistry in the ring and you don’t get that with everyone, whether it was one vs. one or tag. And then we had just great stories. There was so much there, and I feel like us four never get enough credit for our storyline going into that WrestleMania. People couldn’t wait for that match, and everything just really flowed. There was a lot of emotions. A lot of investment, connection.”

Brie On the Feud:

“Yeah, there was definitely a lot of depth to the storyline. And I think it was like years of these little stories we all had throughout, working with each other. And definitely the chemistry. That’s a big part with your opponent is having good chemistry, which we all did.”
