The Hardys Capture NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT vs. TNA Showdown

The Hardys have become champions in WWE by virtue of a Tag Team Title win at NXT vs. TNA Showdown. Matt and Jeff Hardy defeated DarkState’s Dion Williams and Osiris Griffen on Tuesday’s show in a title vs. title match. Jeff picked up the win for the brothers after a Swanton on Griffin to clinch the win and the titles.

The win marks the Hardys’ first run with the NXT Tag Team Titles, and their first titles in WWE since their reign as WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions in mid-2019. DarkState’s reign ends at 45 days, having won the titles at NXT Heatwave from Hank & Tank.

The Hardys will now go on to battle Team 3D/The Dudley Boyz at Bound For Glory on Sunday in the final match between the two legendary rivals.
