The Iron Claw Cast Say They’d Step Into the Ring

The cast of the upcoming The Iron Claw say they’d be interested in stepping into the ring to compete. Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson play Kevin, Kerry, and David Von Erich in the upcoming film, which arrives in theaters on December 22nd. Speaking with EW for a new feature about the film, the three — who trained with Chavo Guerrero to get the wrestling portion down — were asked if they would ever want to do something in wrestling.

White immediatelty said he would love to, as did Dickinson who recalled, “Do you remember at the end of the shoot? We were like, ‘Should we try and do this for real?'”

White said, “We went to [director] Sean [Durkin] and were like, ‘Sean, call them! Tell them we’re ready!'”

Efron added, “Yeah, call WWE!, Say we’re going to do it!”

The three then laughed before Dickinson said, a bit more serious “Honestly, would you do it if they asked you?”

White immediately replied, “F**k yeah.” Efron considered for a moment before grinning and said, “Only if all you guys were there.”
