The New Day Discusses Their Plans for Their WrestleMania Entrance, Inducting The Freebirds, and More

– DC101 recently interviewed The New Day, who discussed their upcoming match with the League of Nations for WrestleMania 32. Below are some highlights and the audio for the interview:

On their war of words with the League of Nations: “We’ve had this fantastic build, where we can go back and forth with the League of Nations on social media and just roast them, like marshmallows at a campfire. We’re just burning them!”

On having fun with their promos: “Everything you see us do on tv are just things we do in the car and it’s just naturally hanging out. It’s not like we’ve sat for hours and “oh this would be funny here and this and that.” Literally, we have a rough idea and inside jokes find their ways into what we say and what we’re doing. It helps so much, the fact that we ride together and train together and are with each other so much.”

On plans for the WrestleMania entrance: “I think people are expecting a huge entrance from us, and I think we’re going to deliver. Nothing’s been confirmed with us but if we get everything we ask for, it’s going to be phenomenal!”

On inducting the Freebirds: “It was awesome to be able to pay tribute on a personal level and show respect. They’re the ones who initiated the Freebird Rule which we use too and have renamed The New Day Rule.”
