Thekla Attacks Mercedes Mone After Women’s World Title Defense At AEW Grand Slam France

Thekla sought to get an edge on her opponent at AEW WrestleDream, attacking Mercedes Mone after the latter’s Women’s World Title defense at AEW Grand Slam France. Mone defended her title against Queen Aminata at Tuesday night’s special episode. Aminata put up a good fight, but she ultimately fell to the Mone Maker at just over 11 minutes.

After the match, Thekla came down to the ring. Mone went for a title belt shot but missed, and Thekla hit the spear. She went for a stomp, but Mone was able to escape the ring. Thekla grabbed the Women’s World Title and taunted Mone as the segment came to an end.
