Thekla Makes Surprise Appearance at STARDOM The Conversion, Attacks Taro Okada

AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla made a shocking surprise appearance at today’s STARDOM The Conversion, where she once again tormented STARDOM President Taro Okada. She attempted to shave the man’s head.

Thekla continued her attack on Okada, hitting him with a microphone, and she also cut a promo. She initially stated, “Taro! I told you I would find you, and I told you I would make your life a living hell!” She then proceeded to beat up Okada.

Thekla then continued on the mic, “Stardom, you fired me. But now, I’m the AEW Women’s World Champion!” She declared, “STARDOM! I’m the woman that you fired, but now, I’m the AEW Women’s World Champion!” Thekla then started whipping Okada with a belt.

Starlight Kid, who Thekla is facing at Forbidden Door, eventually made her way to the ring to fight off Thekla and defend Taro Okada. She grabbed Thekla’s title and raised it above her head, promising to win the belt on behalf of STARDOM at the upcoming event next weekend. Thekla vs. Starlight Kid for the AEW Women’s World Title goes down at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
