TNA ‘Investigating’ NXT Attack On Last Night’s Impact, Ava Denies Involvement

TNA is “investigating” the surprise NXT attack that took place on last night’s Impact, which led to Mike Santana losing the TNA World Championship. As noted, Frankie Kazarian won the World Title after several NXT stars attacked Ryan Nemeth and Mike Santana. That led to Kazarian cashing in the Call Your Shot trophy to win the title.

At TNA Turning Point, company president Carlos Silva confronted Kazarian. said that he had launched an investigation into the incident. Kazarian professed innocence. Nic and Ryan Nemeth came out and there was a tense back and forth, but they settled their differences for the moment so they could compete together tonight.

NXT GM Ava posted to Twitter to deny involvement in the attack, writing simply, “i had nothing to do with this.” Shawn Michaels retweeted Ava’s post and added:

“I’m looking into it. #TurningPoint”
